Course Outline
Students will continue to focus on maintenance of language skills. They will complete exercises from their text books and the electronic resources available.
Expected Outcomes
Students will maintain their language skills while away from the classroom in the areas of:
• grammar
• vocabulary
• translation
• reading comprehension

TE REO MAORI
Course outline
Students who study te reo Māori at Kahunui learn about te ngahere, the forest from a Māori perspective. Traditional stories about Tāne Māhuta and his descendents are studied.
Expected Outcomes
Students will identify and describe rākau and their traditional medicinal uses.
