In offering both the NCEA qualification and the International Baccalaureate the College is providing students with the opportunity to choose the pathway that is right for them as individuals.
NCEA will suit some students, including very able girls and IB will suit some girls, including very able ones.

A two year qualification at the end of Year 13

A qualification at the end of both Years 12 and 13

Year 12 IB, 6 subjects at HL and SL

Year 12 Level 2, 6 subjects for NCEA certificate
Year 13 IB, 6 subjects at HL and SL
Year 13 Level 3, 5 subjects for NCEA certificate
English, mathematics and international language     compulsory in Years 12 and 13
Only english compulsory to the end of L2

3 subjects at Higher Level and 3 subjects at Standard  Level required
Multi-levelling possible
Completion of Theory of Knowledge (TOK),Creativity,
Action & Service (CAS) and Extended Essay (EE) mandatory
Completion of numeracy and literacy requirements to gain NCEA certificate

45 points maximum available; 24 points minimum
required for the Diploma to be awarded in Year 13
