Drama (10DRAM)

Course Outline 
Core Drama is a practical course that is intended to give students experiences of creating, interpreting and appreciating drama. Shaun Tan’s The Arrival and selected Shakespearean speeches are the two texts used in the course. The focus is on building the students’ expressive skills and creating drama from the students’ own world. Through experiential learning the students explore the concepts of drama, of drama elements and conventions, and how these create meaning in drama.
