Course Outline
In addition to the earlier aims and objectives for Years 9 and 10 Latin, the students will further develop skills of interpretation, investigation and critical analysis. The skills tested in the external assessment will include translation and comprehension and a vocabulary list is made available to students to facilitate this achievement. Students also carry out prescribed reading of Latin literary texts and study Roman civilisation with particular reference to the Roman viewpoint.
