Music (9MUSC)

Course Outline 
Music making is at the heart of Year 9 Music. This course is designed to enable keen musicians to extend their skills in solo and ensemble performance, composition, theory and listening. Students experience music from classical, popular and world music traditions. 

Assessment 
Internal assessment including solo and group performances. 
Internal examinations and tests. 

Corequisite 
Students must be having private lessons on their instrument or voice and are strongly encouraged to contribute to a co-curricular group within the College or community. 

Cost 
Students in this class are given priority to attend various concerts which become available.  Costs vary, but attendance is optional.
