Day Girls´ Major Entry Points to the College are:
New Entrant, Year 1 and Year 7
New Entrant: Entry is open to girls whose fifth birthday falls between 1 May and 31 October. Selection is made one year prior to entry. New students enter at the beginning of Term 2 and Term 3 with 26 students enrolled over the two terms. A second full-time teacher supports Literacy, Numeracy and other classroom programmes in Terms 3 and 4, giving a ratio of 1 teacher to no more than 14 students.
Year 1: Entry is open to girls whose fifth birthday falls between 1 November and 30 April. The students begin in Term 1 each year. Selection is made one year prior to entry. New Year 1 students are joined by the previous year's New Entrants to form 2 classes. A class teacher is supported by a full time Learning Assistant, giving a staff/student ratio of no more than 1 to 13.
Year 7: Selection is made when girls are in Year 5, eighteen months prior to entry. 84 places are available as the roll grows from 2 classes to 5.
Year 9: Approximately 24 places are available and selection is made in the year prior to entry.
From time to time places become available at Years 3 and 4 in the Junior School and Years 10, 11,12 and 13 in the Senior School. Specific requests can be discussed with the Admissions and Scholarships Office staff.
Boarders´ Major Entry Points to the College are:
Year 7: Selection is made when girls are in Years 5 or 6.
Year 9: Selection is made when girls are in Year 8.
Vacancies can occur at other levels and specific requests can be discussed with the Admissions and Scholarships Office staff. Special consideration is given to girls seeking entry at Year 11, Year 12 or Year 13 as part of preparation for University.
