A Balanced Menu
Meals are eaten in the Violet Wood Dining Hall. The chef and his staff produce nutritious and tempting menus for all meals.
There is plenty of variety, with the ethnic diversity of our students being taken into account when menus are planned. Vegetarian menus and salad dishes cater for special diets.
For boarders the day begins with a cooked or continental breakfast.
The girls prepare their own lunches in the dining room and an optional hot item is provided every lunchtime.
A mid-morning snack of fresh fruit is always available. Afternoon tea is provided in the boarding house on return from school and evening meals consist of two courses including bread, salads and rice as optional extras.
There are kitchen facilities in each house for hungry girls who want to make themselves a snack or drink.
