Boarding Life
The students live in one of three houses: Elgin, Dunblane or Melrose.
Each house is under the care of an experienced house manager who ensures that there is a family atmosphere which is busy, productive and fun. Homework for girls in Y7 – Y10 is supervised each evening and Y11, Y12 and Y13 study in their rooms.
The work and progress of the junior boarders is monitored by tutors.
Boarders enjoy a firm framework of support for academic work or artistic, musical or sporting development regardless of their ability.
Learning to live and work with others teaches independence, tolerance and co-operation with each other in our boarding community.

Boarders lead full lives, fitting in all their school-based interests. Special interests may often be carried on outside school as well. The girls make the most of living in a city, joining in with a variety of exciting group outings.
