Communicating With Home

Access to telephones, fax and email enables the girls to stay in touch with their families. The families of boarders enjoy weekly contact with the Director of Boarding through the weekly boarders’ newsletter Heart of the College.

Internet and email access is available throughout the College. Electronic Communications Services involves the use of St Cuthbert’s computing facilities for all computer based data communications including without limit, the use of email, Internet and Intranet.  An acceptable use policy governs the way the College electronic communications systems are used.

This policy has been formulated so that any person wishing to have access to the College computing facilities for electronic communication within and beyond the College is aware of the College’s expectations, their responsibilities and expected ethical conduct. The College has taken reasonable measures to block access to inappropriate Internet sites.
