Flexi Boarding
If you need your daughter to stay for a night a week or a term, St Cuthbert's College offers a unique range of boarding options for all students. We can meet the needs of family circumstances, even if these are only of a temporary nature.
The College's flexi boarding arrangements include full boarding, weekly boarding and short term boarding.
Short term boarding allows students to stay one or more nights by prior arrangement with the Director of Boarding on a regular or on an occasional basis.
Flexi-boarding allows girls with late evening commitments and early morning sport's practices who live some distance from the College to stay over at school.
Short term boarding is also an attractive option for families who seek a safe, secure and positive environment for their daughters while they are out of town or overseas.
This can be for a period of one night up to a complete term if the girl's parents are going away for a longer period of time.
All meals are produced by the College chef and his staff and these nutritious and tempting meals are eaten in the Violet Wood Dining Hall.
The menu caters for all special diets with a vegetarian menu and salad bar.
For all boarders the day begins with a continental breakfast.
The girls prepare their own lunch and an optional hot item is provided every lunch time.
A mid morning snack of fresh fruit is always available. Afternoon tea is provided on return from school and evening meals consist of two courses, including breads, salads and rice as optional extras.
There are also kitchen facilities in each House.
