Diving

St Cuthbert’s College is the top diving school in Auckland, having won the 2011 Secondary School Diving Champs.
Currently three divers who started diving here at St Cuthbert’s College are now diving at National Competitions.
Junior and senior diving lessons in 2012 will be offered at Point Erin Pools after school. The diving coaches are provided by the North Harbour and Waitakere Diving Clubs.
Term 1 is spent preparing the students for the Auckland Secondary Schools Diving Competition and the St Cuthbert’s College Diving Championships which will be held at Westwave, Henderson

Michaela Roberts

A Strong, Competitive Group This Year

Claudia Loos and Michaela Roberts have been competing nationally in diving in the 14-15 years age group.
Claudia Loos finished 2nd overall in both 1m and 3m springboard events. Michaela finished 3rd overall in these events.
Both girls were selected to travel to Australia for the Australian Schools’ Diving Championships in August this year. Both girls have the chance to be invited to represent NZ at the Australian Secondary Schools again in 2012, and both will be invited to the Australian Age Group Championships.
They will move up to 16 to 18 year age group this year and they have a highly competitive group of divers in this age group.
Amber Schnauer moves into 14-15 year age group and will for the first time be doing age group competitive diving.
