Equestrian
St Cuthbert's College has a large base of students enjoying the sport of equestrian, and this is increasing each year.
There are a variety of Ribbon Days, Dressage, Showhunter and Eventing days for students to enter who own their own horses or ponies. The girls who do not own their own horse or pony are welcome to come along to the annual Equestrian Camp in September, where speakers and experts in the equestrian field are invited to demonstrate their skills and impart their knowledge.
The St Cuthbert's College team have finished in the top 3 placings in the last Auckland and North Island Secondary School's Eventing competition in the last few years.
A number of riders within the College also represent their region at the New Zealand Pony Club Dressage and Eventing Championships.
In addition the College has a competitor,
Lily Tootil, in the New Zealand Children's Show Jumping squad.
Jacque Williams is the St Cuthbert's College equestrian coach. She has a vast amount of experience and is responsible for selecting the College teams. She attends each of the events coaching the girls, helping to ensure their safety and success.
