The 1st XI football team finished 3rd overall at the Maurice Hulme Tournament which was held in Whangarei during August.

In 2012, St Cuthbert’s College will offer football to a wide range of ages, including an introduction to the sport from Y3.
The Junior A Team and the 1st XI play in the Auckland Provincial Championship which takes place on Wednesdays in Term 2 at venues in central Auckland and in Term 3 against teams further afield.
The College has placed in the top five schools in the Junior A competition in the past few years.
Players from Y7-10 can trial for the Junior A Team.
Girls in Y7-13 play in the Central Auckland Secondary School's Competition on Wednesdays and social teams will play another night (yet to be confirmed).
A variety of programmes will be offered to students in Y3 onwards including WYNERS and Auckland Football Federation Development programmes. The Junior A Team and the 1st XI play in the Auckland Provincial Championship which takes place on Wednesdays in Term 2 and 3.
The College has stayed in the top tier Junior A competition in the past few years.
Players from Y7-10 can trial for the Junior A Team.
The Y7-8 Team play in the Secondary School's Competition against the Y9 & 10 girls.
