Sports Colours Awards 2011

Our top sports achievers were awarded their Colours badges at the Colours Dinner in November, which recognised the commitment, hard work and talent they have demonstrated throughout the year. These awards are given for a variety of sports including honorary awards for the sports not offered within the College.
Last year Lisa Tamati, Ultra-Marathon runner, attended as the guest speaker. She inspired the girls, teachers and family members as she spoke of running the equivalent of 2.5 times around the world and through times of tremendous difficulty and physical pain. Lisa believes anyone really can do whatever they put their mind to and offered that piece of advice to the girls in their future endeavours.
She congratulated the girls and presented them with their awards.
