Tramping in the Whirinaki Forest

Tramping

In the tramping club, students in Years 9-13 get out of the city and into nature. In 2010, students took three trips, a weekend at Waitawheta Valley a four day tramp at Tongariro (Northern Circuit) and a weekend to The Pinnacles (Coromandel)

Tramps last from a weekend to up to six days, giving students time to settle in and appreciate the beauty and solitude of New Zealand’s nature.
