Teaching the new level 2 Chemistry standards

Facilitated by: Dr Jan Giffney HOD Science Mr Ian Torrie HOD Chemistry

The course will highlight changes to the standards for 2012 and identify appropriate resources (including multimedia and ICT). Practical aspects of the internal components will be covered and there will be a hands-on component as well as demonstrations. Pedagogical content knowledge for all theoretical components including learning strategies, common misconceptions and teaching tips etc will be covered.

The workshop is limited to 24 places
