Workshop for School Science Technicians

This workshop offers practical training and support in advancing Chemistry and General Science skills.
It will cover experiments and techniques for the NCEA curriculum.
It is appropriate for experienced technicians and beginners, offering something for all along with the opportunity to share ideas and knowledge in a friendly training and support environment.

The course will include:
Running a senior chemistry titration internal for excellence:
from beginning to end with short cuts and techniques to give excellent test results
Chemical Magic:
fun with chemistry as demonstrated at the 2009 Science Technicians’ Conference
The Teaching Technician:
setting up and delivering demonstrations to the students Sodium/Hydrogen/Whoosh bottles/Volcanoes etc
Ordering System/Technotes/Code of Practice/General Discussion
