Swim Teacher

The award winning St Cuthbert’s Swim School, winner of the 2017 NZSCTA Outstanding Swim School Award, is seeking highly motivated swim teachers to join our team of exceptional swim instructors.

Located in a state of the art aquatic centre, St Cuthbert’s Swim School is a swim school like no other that provides world-class facilities, programmes and services.

To join our team you don’t necessarily need to have swim teaching qualifications and/or experience as we will provide you with the necessary training.  You will need to have a passion for working with kids, a positive approach to life and a commitment to provide high quality swimming tuition and service.

ILT Office Administrator

Part Time Fixed Term –  6 hours per day Monday to Friday

Commencing ASAP until 14 July 2017

We’re looking for an innovative addition to the ILT team, who is eager to support the efficiency of day to day processes for the Department. In being the primary contact to a great variation of clients, excellent communication skills are vital. We value those who are constantly searching for new ways to improve our systems so that in turn, our team can provide an outstanding service to the College.

This position is an ideal opportunity to start a career in Information Technology or to gain experience working in a large organisation. If your passion lies with helping people to find solutions to challenges they encounter using technology then this could be the role for you. As well as the administration support the role has the scope for hands-on work with technology using the IT skills you possess.

KidZone Holiday Programme Supervisor:

Our aim is to provide not just ‘a childcare facility’, but to create a safe environment where children can have fun in the activities provided to engage and extend them during the holiday break.

We are looking for a well organised, fun applicant with lots of energy who likes working with children to supervise our Holiday Care Programme. KidZone operates weekdays 7:30am – 5:30pm during the private school holidays. The position is overseeing the day-to-day events of KidZone and ensuring quality safety and care of the children. Applicants should have the ability to relate to and empathise with children, parents and the local community.

Fixed Term Contract operating during the July Holidays: Monday 10th July – Friday 28th July

Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience in working with children in a structured environment is essential
  • First Aid Certificate desirable
  • Ability to drive a manual vehicle
  • Must have the ability to work in New Zealand

Position Requirements:

  • A passion for working with groups of children aged between 5 and 14 years
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness and energy
  • Excellent time management skills and record keeping
  • Ability to communicate on all levels in a professional and caring manner
  • Computer literacy and competence
  • Good command of the English Language
