Senior Biology and Science Teacher
We are seeking an experienced Biology and Science teacher to work with groups of students from all abilities across Years 7 – 11 and on the delivery of Senior Biology to Year 12 and Year 13 students. The position will involve collaborating with other teachers within both the Biology and the Science department and to ensure that the Science department is a strong and supportive professional learning community. The main focus will be the delivery of the Biology curriculum with an enthusiastic and positive approach.
The position will involve the teaching of an engaging programme in Senior Biology within the NZQA assessment system. As the College offers the International Baccalaureate qualification system, experience within this qualification framework would be valued (or willingness to undergo training to teach this qualification system would be required). Furthermore the College runs a strong Biology scholarship programme and involvement and experience with Scholarship Biology would be preferred/expected.

The successful participant will be an organised and collegial member of the Biology and Science department and will be expected to be fully involved in all aspects College life.
