Libraries

The libraries of St Cuthbert’s College have two main goals; to foster the love of reading and to support teaching and learning by providing information and research.  These goals are achieved in a friendly and inviting environment with a current and dynamic collection of books, a range of personal and online services, print, multimedia and electronic resources and technology to support learning and creativity.

Both libraries run book clubs for the junior school, senior school and staff. They also support the highly successful Kids LitQuiz teams, one of which has recently come second at the International finals in England this year.

The Smith Gray Library and Learning Centre

The Smith Gray Library and Learning Centre in the Junior School caters for students in Years 1 – 6 with picture book, fiction, audio book and non-fiction collections alongside an ICT suite providing imac computers and educational software.
