Science and Technology

Science and Technology for Years 5 to 8 is designed to be an interesting, exciting and motivational subject, which creates a positive attitude that students can take into the Senior School.

Junior School teachers are assisted in planning by members of the Senior School Science Department to provide a basis which prepares students for Science in the Senior School.
With top of the line lab facilities, cross curriculum work and field trips students are introduced to science outside the textbook and become more aware of how to apply science to everyday life.

Every year students have the chance to combine their imagination with what they have learnt in class and participate in the Junior School Science Fair.
They are also awarded Science Badges and Crest Awards for commitment and hard work in the subject.
