On Tuesday 22 March, twelve Year 1 and 2 girls visited Elizabeth Knox Home to sing some of their favourite JAM songs to the residents. We incorporated the Easter story into the songs we sang and it was wonderful when some of the residents joined us in song. The girls looked amazing as they all wore Easter bonnets. They were asked to do a ‘walk through’ as they left so everyone could have a good look at their special hats. We also took an Easter hamper filled with treats for everyone to share during this special time of year.
Many thanks to Sandy Burrowes and Bronwyn Flint for coming with us! It was a special occasion for our girls and a time of sharing with our neighbours across the road.
