It’s been a busy few weeks in the Junior School. Our annual Swimming Sports was held in the Centennial Centre providing plenty of space for our girls, staff and parents on a rainy day. Girls competed in individual competition events and house events. My thanks to Liz Goer, Des Knight and the staff in their support of the girls and their organisation for the day.
We have held our Year 3, Year 4 and Year 6 camp information evenings for parents. I know how much girls are looking forward to these wonderful Education Outside the Classroom (EOTC) experiences. Thank you to all teachers for their work behind the scenes in ensuring our girls get these essential and engaging learning experiences.
In the past few days we have celebrated St Cuthbert’s Day with services, celebrations and our Open Day. It was lovely to see so many current parents and visitors in the College. The girls enjoyed the range of learning activities in the Arts and STEM subjects offered by our amazing teachers. My thanks to our very able Y6 tour guides who eagerly showed visitors around the Junior School.
