St Cuthbert’s shares its latest collection of family favourite recipes.
In their newly published cookbook, St Cuthbert’s Cookbook: Mind, Body & Soul, the College delivers a creative new take on their vision for inspiring young girls to enjoy great food and live life to the fullest.
Published to mark the centenary of the College, the cookbook features favourite recipes alongside portraits of young women and inspirational quotes. Most importantly, it raises funds for the College’s Centennial Centre for Wellbeing – a Sport and Health Education Centre being created to instil healthy eating choices and positive physical attitudes in young women.
The secret to the popularity of Mind, Body & Soul is that it features a unique collection of trusted (and often closely guarded) family recipes shared by the entire school community – students, staff, Old Girls, parents and grandparents – even John Key and Josh Emett feature. It’s the cookbook where families all share their very best recipes and the stories behind them, making everyone’s cooking easier and more delicious.
This treasured collection has been created by such names as well-known magazine editor Christina Sayers Wickstead, talented photographer Cate Rainbow, food editor and author Pippa Cuthbert, Sarah Wren of Bambina café fame and Sonia and David McConnell from Benson Rd Deli. They have all worked alongside a team of passionate, talented men and women who have brought to life the positive role food plays in our lives.
