A St Cuthbert’s duo with a love of science won one of the top Gold Prizes at the Auckland City Science and Techology Fair.
Year 9 students Alex Fowler and Emily Mulgan won the NIWA Auckland Prize – for best exhibit in Atmospheric and Water Science category for their project ‘Go with the Flow’. They also placed second in the Planet Earth and Beyond category.
Joining Alex and Emily were 18 other students, selected to compete after impressing the judges at the College Year 8 and 9 Science and Technology Fair.
In total we were awarded 9 Highly Commended Awards, 3 category awards and 3 Special Prizes.
