Giving, Sponsorship & Bequest

Annual Giving

Every year we ask the College community for support through the Annual Giving programme.

  • Annual Giving helps ensure that St Cuthbert’s remains at the leading edge of academic teaching
  • Allows students who would otherwise not be able to afford a St Cuthbert’s education to attend school here
  • Supports technological innovation
  • Achieves constant improvements and additions to College facilities

We are heartened by the growing number of parents and Old Girls joining the culture of philanthropy.

It is participating in Annual Giving that is vitally important. We encourage each and every member of the College family to contribute – no matter what the amount of the gift. To contribute to Annual Giving in 2015 please click here.

Bequest Programme

Driven by a highly regarded group of Bequest Patrons the College seeks financial security through bequests to The Black Watch Society Bequest Programme.

Ali Lloyd “I like to support the Bequest programme as I believe that without the support of generous supporters of the College it will be increasingly difficult to maintain the very high standards it currently has. I particularly like the fact that the College is able to offer opportunities to girls who would otherwise be unable to attend – adding to the diversity and growth of the College community.”

– Ali Lloyd, Bequest Patron

Kathryn Carter“I made some lifelong friendships at St Cuthbert’s College and have memories of wonderful teachers. I am also aware that good schooling requires extra support from a funding base in order to retain and achieve excellence for the coming generations.”

– Kathryn Carter, Bequest Patron

Fiona Elvin“The love that we all develop for the College, whether as students, parents or Old Girls is intergenerational and enduring and we reach a point in our lives where not only do we recognise that these things matter but that we want to do something about them”
– Fiona Elvin, Bequest Patron
